A clean city promotes quality of life, economic development and safe neighborhoods. In order to aggressively tackle our litter problem, an
increase to the environmental fund is needed.

A proposed rate increase will:
● Distribute existing litter control costs more equitably (e.g., residential, commercial and industrial accounts)
● Reduce existing litter control expenses on the Solid Waste Fund
● Increase revenue to the Environmental Fund to:
1. Expand litter control services by adding 

2. Expand environmental service capacity 

3. Build fund solvency and security
