Engage: Department of Education Curriculum and Assessment Review

Engage will be responding to the call for evidence to inform the government Curriculum and Assessment Review. We’re working alongside others in the sector such as the Group for Education in Museums. The review will ensure that the curriculum appropriately balances ambition, excellence, relevance, flexibility and inclusivity for all children and young people.

This provides us with an excellent opportunity to emphasise the important contribution of the visual arts to the National Curriculum, and the value of galleries, art museums, and artists in enriching learning.

Please share your thoughts on some of the key questions in the review. This will inform Engage’s response to the DfE. Please complete the short survey - the deadline for responses is Thursday 14 November at 9am.
