City of Sierra Vista 5-year Consolidated Plan
About this survey
The City of Sierra Vista’s Department of Community Development is in the process of preparing a Five-Year Consolidated Plan and an Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice (AI) for the program years 2019-2024. These documents are required by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to distribute funds for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships, and other federal programs. The Plan will describe is in the process of preparing the Five-Year Consolidated Housing and Community Development Plan for the City of Sierra Vista. The Plan will describe the City’s housing and community development needs, strategies, and priorities. The AI is the basis for the City’s Fair Housing Plan, which states how the city will provide services and conduct activities in a non-discriminatory manner and affirmatively further fair housing.
These documents affect neighborhoods and organizations across the City, and input from residents, city agencies and service organizations are vital to identifying needs and allocating resources. For this reason, we are asking individuals to complete this brief online survey as part of the planning process. You may respond from your home computer, or use a computer at the public library, a church, or a civic center. This will help us gather as much input as possible. It is important that we receive your input in order to prepare a complete and accurate plan that reflects our City's needs and priorities.
The results of the survey will be included in the Draft Plan and draft AI, which will be available for public review and comment and discussed at a public hearing on April 11, 2019.
The survey should take about 15 minutes to complete.
Please check the City's website for updates and information.
