FRLAEF REGIONAL WORKSHOP 2016 |
KEISER UNIVERSITY--SARASOTA CAMPUS
The FRLAEF will be holding a Regional Workshop at the Keiser University Sarasota campus on Friday, October 14, 2016.
The event will begin at 8:30 am and conclude by 2:00 pm. There is no fee to attend this event. Lunch will be provided and all attending students will receive a complimentary chef jacket.
Students will rotate through Latin Cuisine sessions:
The focus of the Lab will be to use a variety of basic techniques and skills including but not limited to knife skills, cooking and baking methods in order to produce a variety of traditional Latin dishes. Dishes to include, Mojo Pork, Shrimp Vera Cruz, Arroz Con Pollo, Spiced plantain chips, Salsa, Charro Beans, Mexican Street Corn, Pao de Queijo, Guava and Cream Cheese Pastelitos and Arroz Con Leche
Each ProStart school may bring up to 5 ProStart students to the event. (If more space becomes available we will let you know.)
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: September 30, 2016
In the event this Regional Workshop reaches maximum capacity prior to the deadline, all subsequent schools will be placed on the waiting list.
The campus address is 6151 Lake Osprey Dr, Sarasota, FL 34240. The FRLAEF will email out directions and agendas to all registered attendees prior to the event.
