1.Swanscombe and Greenhithe Town Council took the decision on the 3 July 2025 to adopt the former BT Telephone Kiosk in Pier Road, Greenhithe, to preserve the building as a community asset.

The kiosk is Grade II listed, and the Town Council is arranging to have the site secured and the kiosk brought back into a good state of repair.

We would like the public’s help to decide what the site should be used for going forward. The unit will not have a telephone installed, but the space can be re-used for a multitude of options.

3.In addition to deciding on what the kiosk will be used for the Town Council are also looking for community volunteers to help maintain it.

This will involve:

· Checking the kiosk is safe

· Reporting any damage / defects

· Assisting with cleaning and repainting as needed

· Checking that equipment / displays inside are safe, secure and up to date
