2026 Farmington Community Survey The Town of Farmington is beginning the process of updating the town’s Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD) and Strategic Plan. As a first step, we are seeking input from residents, businesses, and other stakeholders on a variety of subjects and budgetary impact. These Plans cover a variety of subjects including municipal services and facilities, housing, economic development, transportation, recreation and open space, natural and historic resources, resilience, among other topics. There will be additional public engagement events for the POCD to build upon these topics. The following survey is meant to better understand how the community feels about Farmington in its current state and where it should be heading in the next 5, 10, to 20 years. The survey has 28 main questions about the Town and several optional questions about you at the conclusion of the survey. The survey can be taken on a phone or tablet, but it will be an easier experience on a computer. We recommend that you set aside approximately 20 to 30 minutes to complete the survey. For the online version you are not able to start and then stop and reopen your responses.
