Washington State Ferries are more than just transportation; they are floating landmarks of the Pacific Northwest. Now, you have the opportunity to leave your mark on the next generation.

As construction moves forward on our new hybrid-electric fleet, Washington State Ferries is asking riders, community members, and crew to help choose the interior design direction of these historic new vessels. The first new ferry, Wishkah, is currently under construction and scheduled to enter service in 2030. These ships will serve our waters for decades to come, and your vote will directly influence how millions of passengers experience Puget Sound.

This public survey is open until November 30. Your input will directly shape our program team’s final design recommendation to WSF leadership.

Option 2: Traditional Marine (Classic, familiar coastal blues) Traditional Marine includes light and navy blue, yellow, gray, and evergreen.

Option 3: Hybrid Bold (Contemporary teal and burnt orange accents) Hybrid Bold includes red, navy blue, bright orange, dark gray, and light gray.
