Cybersecurity Survey

It is very important during program development for IVCC to evaluate the community needs.  We would like to understand the employer needs regarding cybersecurity skill sets.

Please answer the following questions based on your anticipated needs and concerns in relation to IT professionals with cybersecurity education in the coming years.
1.There is a significant cyber threat in the Illinois Valley.
2.Cybersecurity threats directly affect my business or organization.
3.My business or organization needs employees with cybersecurity training.
4.My business or organization needs IT staff that have basic cybersecurity skills in addition to their regular computer programming or systems maintenance skills.
5.My business or organization needs IT staff that are cybersecurity specialists.
6.I have staff or colleagues who are IT professionals, and I will encourage them to enroll in IVCC’s cybersecurity program.
7.I would hire IT professionals with a cybersecurity certificate rather than requiring an associate’s degree. 
8.I would need an IT candidate to have a minimum of an associate’s degree in cybersecurity. 
9.I would need an IT candidate to have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity.
