Dear Community Service Agency:
The Lycoming-Clinton Counties Commission for Community Action (STEP), Inc., Lycoming County United Way, First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania, and River Valley Health & Dental Center request your assistance to assess our county’s needs. These four partners have come together to support the 2018 Community Needs Assessment to ensure a holistic view of what is happening in the community can be documented and analyzed to provide a context for funding decisions, program expansions and changes, as well as a general understanding as to the overall well-being of the community. As a community service partner, your organization serves as the eyes and ears most closely involved in understanding those needs. Your knowledge and perceptions of the human service needs faced by residents of our county are vital to this process.
Please take a few minutes to complete the enclosed survey and provide your perceptions of the problems faced by the entire county and the attention we as a community have devoted to those problems. The data will be used by the sponsoring organizations as they further develop and refine their funds distribution process. The partner survey is just one piece to a multi-faceted outreach methodology, which will also include objective data, customer surveys, and focus groups. The final Community Needs Assessment Report will be completed and published in the Fall of 2018 and publicly available.
