The Lunenburg County Accessibility Advisory Committee (LCAAC) invites you to share your experience living with disability in our communities through our ‘Day in the Life’ photo project.
The “Day in the Life” Project is a way for community members to help raise awareness about what it’s like to have a disability in Lunenburg County. We want to know what is working well and what are the things that create challenges and barriers.
Who can participate?
- You live in Lunenburg County
- You have a disability or have access needs (for example, people with vision loss, brain injury, mental health conditions, Deaf or Hard of Hearing, mobility disabilities, Neurodivergent, and more). In the Nova Scotia Accessibility Act, the definition of disability “includes a physical, mental, intellectual, learning or sensory impairment, including an episodic disability, that, in interaction with a barrier, hinders an individual’s full and effective participation in society.”
