xxxxxNational Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Agreement |
We are seeking your views on the National Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Agreement, which guides how governments work together to create better mental health and harm reduction supports and services for people and communities.
The National Mental Health Consumer Alliance is seeking to understand from mental health consumers/people with consumer lived experience of mental health challenges whether the current Agreement has delivered safe, effective, available mental health, suicide prevention and harm minimisation, domestic violence and alcohol and other drugs services and supports.
The survey is based on five outcome domains developed by the Alliance based on the national goals of the Agreement: Consumer goals, rights and equity; Prevention and early support; Integrated supports; System sustainability and performance outcomes; and Transparency and accountability.
We expect the survey to take around 20-25 minutes. Please DO answer the demographic questions as it will help us identify intersectional barriers.
This survey includes explicit questions relating to suicide, domestic violence and coercive practices. You will be able to skip these questions if you choose to.
You may find thinking about some of the questions in this survey distressing. If you need someone to talk to, please consider reaching out to one of the following support services:
