Background
We are a group  of Adaminaby women who have come together to advocate for excellent and inclusive community infrastructure and recreation areas in Adaminaby. We believe that enhanced community spaces and recreation areas are fundamental to enjoyment of our town by young and old, today and in the future. Have a look at our new website (www.adaminaby.org.au).

We would like to gather your ideas and views. One way is through short topic-specific online surveys like this one. We will also look at other ways,  like postal surveys, meeting with you, community gatherings and talking to community organisations and businesses in town and district. You can contact us on maps@adaminaby.org.au

How we will  use the information you provide
We will put the results of the survey on our website (www.adaminaby.org.au). All answers are anonymous.  The survey results will be used to inform the way we (and maybe you too!) advocate for Adaminaby. We may use the information you provide  in a range of ways, for example, to inform any advocacy submissions, strategies, or presentations, or fund-raising applications. If they epitomise themes or exemplify opinions or contain historical information, we may use anonymised quotes in these outputs, and also on our website. The results will also inform us as a community about our views and thoughts on Adaminaby  community spaces and recreation areas now and into the future.

The aggregated and anonymous data will be provided as a report on the MAPS website. We do not know if any of this information will help to secure enhanced community infrastructure or recreational areas in Adaminaby, but it will help to advocate for them and understand what people in Adaminaby and district think, and those who visit us and our beautiful surrounding area.  If you have any questions about our surveys or have ideas how we can gather community feedback, or would like to talk with us directly, please email us at maps@adaminaby.org.au.

This survey is about the Adaminaby Pool (maybe the first of many surveys....).
Our pool is the highest outdoor public pool in Australia! The Adaminaby community has been asking for heating on the pool for years, and in 2016 came together to successfully campaign against its closure. We'd like to gather your thoughts and ideas about the pool and its precinct to enhance enjoyment of this facility for all the community, today and into the future.

We've been looking around at other small town pools in the region to gain ideas. Here's one: the small town pools in the Snowy Valleys shire have a range of access options, including card-operated after hours access and ability to book the pool, as well as general access with life-guards in peak periods. We'd love to hear your thoughts on these enhancements for Adaminaby too!

If there's not enough space in this survey to tell us your thoughts and idea, please email us on maps@adaminaby.org.au

Thank you!
