About the Environmental Team
Airport operators and government agencies face a complicated matrix of environmental approval processes, regional policies and stakeholder expectations. General Information
Provide high-quality environmental planning services to best meet client needs. Coordinate work related to project-specific responsibilities. Assist and/or guide junior staff in the completion of project tasks. Possess a good understanding of environmental review processes (e.g., NEPA, CEQA, SEPA) and the airport industry.

Essential Functions
  • Overseeing the completion of tasks within the scope of project responsibilities
  • Interacting with clients to understand needs, foster good relationships and identify further opportunities for Landrum & Brown
  • Prepare for public and client meetings (i.e., coordinate meeting logistics including facilities and scheduling, prepare accurate presentation materials, keep meeting attendance records, review written comments, etc.)
  • Conduct environmental analysis of impacts and develop mitigation plans for airport projects
  • Write draft and final versions of environmental approval documents 

Educational/Technical/Experience Requirements

  • Minimum four-year college degree in urban planning, geography, mathematics, aviation management, or environmental sciences
  • Knowledge of environmental concepts, airports, aviation and of the air-travel industry
  • Meet yearly business travel requirement of 11-25%
