BHM 2026: ActionDignity Art Campaign |
Introduction
ActionDignity’s Black History Month (BHM) 2026 Online Art Campaign invites youth, and all community members, to create and submit original artwork that explores Black identity, belonging, and brilliance across generations. The theme for the campaign is, 'Black Canadians: Crossroads of Identity & Belongingness'. The theme encourages reflection on legacy, resilience, creativity, and the ongoing shaping of Canada by Black communities.
ActionDignity would like to hear am amplify black voices, exploring what Black brilliance means to them, and how does it show up in their daily living, illustrated through arts. This initiative is not a competition, but a creative platform that values every contribution.
All art forms (e.g. visual arts, mixed media, paintings, digital art, photography, performative arts etc.) are welcome.
ActionDignity reserves the right to exhibit selected pieces during its main Black History Month celebration event, with proper credits to the artists.
