Favourite Environmentally Conscious Small Business: The business must have fewer than 100 paid employees, and should sell and/or produce local, environmentally- friendly, and/or sustainability focused products, adhere/promote environmentally-friendly or sustainability company values, or contribute positively to the environment in some other significant way.

* 3. Favourite Community Garden: The garden must be a community garden (i.e. publicly accessible, open to local residents for use, etc.). Aside from aesthetics, extra consideration will be given to organic gardens, and gardens that contribute in other
significant ways (e.g. has an educational aspect, contributes to food security, etc.)

Sustainability Citizen of the Year: An Edmonton resident who positively contributes to, promotes, or improves environmental sustainability in their work, schooling, or volunteering in some significant or notable way. Favourite YEG Agriculture Business: The business (e.g. farm, greenhouse, etc.) must have fewer than 100 paid employees, and must grow/produce local, environmentally-friendly, and/or sustainability focused food/agricultural products (e.g. fruits, vegetables, other crops [like flour], animal/animal by-products [like beef, eggs, honey] etc.). Extra consideration will be given to organic producers, and to businesses that contribute in other significant ways (e.g. has an educational aspect, contributes to food security, etc.).
