Why is LAWV surveying for information about pro bono assistance?
Legal Aid of West Virginia (LAWV) is embarking on a transformational effort to redesign our pro bono programming throughout the State. We understand the key to meeting the needs of low-income individuals in West Virginia is to expand access to legal services by engaging the private bar.

Why does LAWV need your input?
You have been identified as a key stakeholder in pro bono in West Virginia as a volunteer and/or a practicing attorney. Leaders like you in our state’s legal community have played an important part in meeting the legal needs of those unable to afford counsel. You have a unique view of the needs of a pro bono attorney/volunteer which those of us working at LAWV may not see.

The transformation project will take place over the coming year and the first step includes hearing from you! We ask that you take this 15-minute survey by July 1st, 2022.
