AAST Fellow Member Nomination Form
The AAST Fellow Program recognizes those who have made significant and sustained contributions to the field of Sleep Technology and AAST. Please read below for additional information regarding the nomination requirements and process.
The AAST Fellow membership distinction identifies individuals who are highly regarded in the sleep technology field and who possess attributes that align with the AAST strategic goals.
Fellow Member Expectations: AAST Fellow members will be expected to maintain their credentials and continue with their professional development.
AAST Fellow members will have the honor to identify themselves with "FAAST" distinction after their names.
Fellow Requirements: AAST Fellows are defined as individuals who meet the following qualifications:
Be credentialed in sleep technology by a nationally recognized organization for at least fifteen (15) years prior to the date of the nomination and be currently employed in the field of sleep technology.
Be an active regular member of the AAST in good standing for at least ten (10) consecutive years prior to the date on which the nomination is submitted.
Have attained one of the following accomplishments: o Significant professional service to the AAST and to the field of sleep technology. o Significant professional contributions to the field of sleep technology. This can include publications/research, education, and mentorship. o Prominent leadership, influence, and achievement in clinical practice, education or science.
Nomination Requirements: Only AAST Fellow members in good standing can nominate AAST regular members in good standing to be considered for nomination to the AAST 2024-2025 Fellow Class. Nominators must complete the Nomination form by the submission deadline, March 16, 2025.
Selection Process: Nominations will be evaluated by the Fellowship Selection Committee, in accordance with the AAST Fellow Evaluation Guidelines.
