Program Overview:
HRMAM’s Professional Mentoring Program (PMP) enables an established practitioner to facilitate an emerging practitioner's smooth integration into the human resources community or it matches more seasoned professionals who wish to further enhance their professional development by drawing on the expertise and knowledge of their fellow members.

What is a Mentor?

Throughout the years, the term mentor has come to mean a more experienced person who helps guide, support, and counsel a less experienced person through the world of work. Mentors share their experience and expertise with a protégé to assist them in their career development and planning. Mentoring is not just teaching or counseling - it involves fostering a protégé’s relationship with a person of experience and helping them prepare for the future. A mentor should be one level above the protégé or in the new field of interest of the protégé.

NOTE: THIS PROGRAM IS OPEN TO MEMBERS OF HRMAM ONLY. If you would like to learn about the benefits of HRMAM membership, please visit the 'Learn & Connect' section of our website at www.hrmam.org.
