To support a viable DAMA Program, the entity managing and administering the DAMA will need to have business and service viability. This is usually achieved by charging a fee to business seeking to utilise the services of the DAMA.
This cost is in addition to the visa processing costs paid to the Department of Home Affairs.

Visa processing costs vary depending on visa type and can range from between $6k - $13k. More detailed costing can be found here -> Visa application costs

In Addition to visa cost there is also a need for the employer to pay a Skilling Australians Fund (SFA) Levy. Details of this cost cost can be found here -> SFA Levy

The DAMA administration fee is usually between $1000 - $1500 per position, and is on top of the above mentioned fees.

The DAMA improves on the existing suite of visas, however the cost to process the visas still exists.
13.Are you willing to absorb the costs associated with sponsoring an overseas worker under a Designated Area Migration Agreement?
14.Can your organisation commit to employing VISA holder for the duration of the VISA?
15.I understand the costs of obtaining individual visas will not be removed by the introduction of the DAMA program
16.Having considered the information attached to this survey, and your responses to the questions above. Are you interested in making use of a Greater Whitsunday DAMA program to support temporary residence working visa placements.
