To support a viable DAMA Program, the entity managing and administering the DAMA will need to have business and service viability. This is usually achieved by charging a fee to business seeking to utilise the services of the DAMA.
This cost is in addition to the visa processing costs paid to the Department of Home Affairs.
Visa processing costs vary depending on visa type and can range from between $6k - $13k. More detailed costing can be found here ->
Visa application costs.
In Addition to visa cost there is also a need for the employer to pay a Skilling Australians Fund (SFA) Levy. Details of this cost cost can be found here ->
SFA LevyThe DAMA administration fee is usually between $1000 - $1500 per position, and is on top of the above mentioned fees.
The DAMA improves on the existing suite of visas, however the cost to process the visas still exists.
