The Southington Public Schools Board of Education and the Superintendent have launched a strategic planning process. A strategic plan serves as a clear and focused roadmap for improving schools and ensuring success for all students. It outlines the district’s goals, priorities, and the specific actions it will take to address challenges, enhance teaching and learning, and meet the needs of its community.
Think of it as a guide that helps everyone—teachers, parents, administrators, and the community—work together toward a shared vision for the future. It ensures that resources like time, money, and energy are used effectively so the district can provide the best possible education for every student.
A representative steering committee has begun a needs assessment and is committed to hearing the perspectives of stakeholders. Over the last several weeks, we’ve conducted focus groups and interviews. In addition, we want to hear from as many individuals as possible. The results of this survey will inform the priorities and goals of the district for the next several years.
This survey should take 10-15 minutes, and your responses are completely anonymous.
Thank you for your participation.
