Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) Greater Philadelphia Chapter is seeking participants for its annual Tech-It-Out (TIO) conference.  The event will take place June 16, 2020 at Philadelphia 201, Philadelphia, PA. The WICT TIO 2020 Program Committee co-chairs Teresa Talese and Sonya Patton will review all proposals.

The WICT Tech-It-Out conference showcases cutting-edge technology impacting the telecommunications industry and by extension, our lives. The 2020 theme is Innovate 2020: Leaping into a New Decade focused on the upcoming technologies that will quickly become the new standard(s) in business and society.  Presentations are open to presentations and demos of all enabling technology needed to elevate processes, efficiencies, security, analytics and social media today.  TIO attendees include women and men who work in the telecommunications industry. The program is designed for a primarily non-technical audience and also includes students, interns, and young professionals.

Participation opportunities exist for:
  • Hands-On demonstrations
  • Speakers on panels and break-out sessions
  • Vendor table-top displays at the Sponsor Showcase
  • Students, Interns, and Young Professionals
The WICT TIO 2020 Program Committee is interested in addressing the following topics as related to Innovate 2020, to include interaction, case studies, and demonstrations where applicable.

Possible Topics:
  • Cyber/Data Security
  • Block Chain
  • Data Science Analytics
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • AWS
  • Digital Technology
  • Social Media and the evolution
  • Lift
  • Metadata Management
  • Robotics
  • Any reasonable, creative related topic will be considered…
Please note that speaking for the WICT TIO is voluntary. All speakers are expected to cover their own travel expenses. Speakers will receive complimentary registration to the WICT TIO conference.

The 2020 TIO Program Committee will announce selected presentations by Monday April 20th. If selected, speaker’s bio will be due Friday May 1st.

Selected presentations will be due by Monday May 15th.
