Survey 2: The Congregation and Its Community
Province VI is in the midst of a Narrative Project focused on collecting stories about life in congregations across this province. Our desire is to uncover a picture of what it means to be church in this time and place.
The survey in section 1 on the Province VI Narrative Project focused on the relationships between the individual and the congregation. Questions such as, “What do you love and appreciate most about your congregation, what would you make sure a visitor experienced and/or knew about your congregation, and what wishes do you have for your congregation?” offered insights to the importance of congregations, no matter the size, in the life of folks across this province.
This second survey focuses on the relationship between the congregation and its local environment – the wider community in which the congregation lives. These stories add to the emerging picture of who we are as the Episcopal Church in Province VI. You are invited to share your thoughts in Survey 2 below.
The Narrative Project is grateful for your time and energy in completing the survey. Recognizing all the connections across Province VI helps us know we belong to each other.
