APTA Michigan - New Graduate Mentee Program Sign-Up Survey

The APTA Michigan Membership Committee is launching the inaugural New Graduate Mentorship Program! Our goal is to create a community connecting experienced and new graduate clinicians in Michigan. This community is intended to help new graduates navigate the early stages of their career and to promote leadership and involvement in APTA Michigan.

If you are a new graduate looking for mentorship, please fill out this survey to get started.

Program Components:

·       Mentees must be APTA MI members and have < 5 years of clinical experience.

·       If you are a student, you are eligible to join at this time if you are in your final year of school.

·       Mentees must commit to 1 full year of participation.

·       Mentees will be paired with one mentor who may also have up to 1-2 other mentees.

·       Mentors and mentees will be expected to meet once per quarter (virtually or in-person) to address planned topics and/or questions their mentee(s) may have. In addition, we will connect all mentors and mentees via Facebook group for unscheduled discussion.

o   Participation in APTA MI Sponsored Events together will also be encouraged.

·       Mentees will be awarded with 4 PDRs for their full participation.
