Tour Dates/Start times:
--Tours last 1.5 hours
--You must list at least three dates/times as possibilities for a tour
--You can list different dates and times, different times for the same date or type in the same option three times
--Carefully consider your available dates/times and the tour options that will work for your group, flexibility greatly speeds up the registration process
--Morning slots tend to fill first and 9:30am and 10am are often already filled, listing afternoon times may be advantageous
--If scheduling an afternoon tour, check to see how late your buses will run (many are not available past 2:30pm)

Lunch at the Garden
--You can opt. out of lunch if you are not eating at the garden

PRE-DESIGNED DISCOVERY TOURS
The tour packets include a completely ready to go tour of the garden that includes student activities and a teacher packet. Tour resources can be found at the bottom of the school and youth group tour web page.

FESTIVAL REGISTRATION
When registering for a festival such as the "Arbor Day Festival for the Schools" or the "Goldenrod Festival - Celebrating Native Plants and Animals", please select "Discovery Tour" as your tour type as no guided tours are available on those days.

NEW!  GARDEN GUIDED TOURS WITH ACTIVITY
PLEASE NOTE:  This particular tour will last TWO HOURS instead of 90 minutes like the rest of the tours that we offer. Also, this tour is ONLY for students in K-12.

These tours highlight outdoor garden areas of seasonal interest. Trained guides will lead educators and children on a tour through a variety of ecosystems, incredible gardens and natural landscapes.  Either before the tour or after, a trained guide will also lead educators and children through a garden-themed activity.  If you have an topic or objective that you would like our staff to reach, please communicate that with Kate Schwarz at k.schwarz@omahabotanicalgardens.org as soon as possible so that our team can plan for your tour.

-Discovery tours are available year-round
-Conservatory Guided Tours with an Activity are available November through March
-All other guided tour types are available June through August
-Adopt-a-School Tours available for Bancroft and Castelar Elementary Schools only.
