• When resizing images, auto-select Bicubic Sharper or Bicubic Smoother
• Video: Save QuickTime rendering presets
• Layers: Display layer edges when they are moved outside the canvas area
• Make it possible to rotate guides
• Enable move a selection while active layer is hidden
• When you first press Cmd-H, ask whether you want the command to hide Photoshop (Mac OS standard) or hide the current selection (Photoshop traditional)
• Open/Save: Open animated GIF files (a la ImageReady)
• Add a “rule of thirds” overlay to the Crop tool (a la Lightroom)
• Layers: When free transforming layers, add Bicubic Sharper & Bicubic Smoother options
• Add a straighten-image tool
• Layers: Enable quick search to filter the layers list
• Transforming: When using Free Transform, have the layer that’s being transformed automatically fit within the image boundaries (so that transformation handles are visible on screen).
• Open/Save: Add a “Don’t Show Again” checkbox to the “maximize compatibility” dialog
• Layers: Bring back "Change Layer Contents"
• Display the anchor point of the Clone Stamp & Healing Brush
• Type: Add anti-aliasing options (e.g. Flash, Clear Type)

• Transforming: Add a Reset button for Smart Object transformations
