Riverside Youth Hub is considering creating a drop in group on Tuesdays or Wednesdays from 1pm-5pm. This would be for young people not in a school for any reason (temporary or permanent) and also for young people after school who would like to join in.
Would those days and times work in your opinion?

The aim of this group is to provide opportunities for young people currently not in school to connect with youth work professionals and volunteers, create socialising opportunities, reduce isolation, and give opportunities to learn life skills such as understanding finances/payslips/managing credit, maintaining a tenancy, home maintenance, basic repairs.
What would be useful and of interest from your perspective?
Financial literacy - Bills, using credit, payslips, student finance, banking
Renting a home - Maintaining a tenancy basics
Home maintenance - How do utilities work (gas, electric, water)
Home maintenance - Understanding basic tools and what they are used for around the home
Home maintenance - How to maintain appliances (oven, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine)
Home maintenance - Basic DIY repairs (changing lightbulbs, repairing leaky tap, clearing blocked drain)
