Inquiry-based learning: Alabama History Day 

Please complete the following application to be considered for participation in AHA's upcoming exploration of Alabama History Day as an inquiry-based learning opportunity for students in grades 6 - 12.

Primary course instructor is Debbie Hester, retired middle school educator and AHA's Alabama History Day Teacher Ambassador. Other instructors include Dr. Hayden McDaniel, Alabama Department of Archives and History.

This one-day workshop will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 (8:30am - 3:00pm) at the Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for the Arts and Humanities at Pebble Hill on the Auburn University campus. Participants will receive five CEU credits and a lunch. Teachers will receive materials needed to implement Alabama History Day in their classrooms.
