When we return to the ice, the Town of Halton Hills staff will need to implement a number of safety measures consistent with the various levels of government and health agency directions which include the number of participants allowed on the ice, the number of spectators (one parent per child) allowed in the building, wearing of face masks while in the building, restricting areas within the building due to physical distancing. These restrictions will have an impact on the programs we can run. Will this cause you not to register your child/youth this year?

* 7. When entering Town facilities you will be required to wear a face mask, sanitize your hands and keep physical distancing. Skate Canada will require a signed waiver. Health screening questions will be asked each time you arrive at the arena and you will be required to provide your name and contact number. This is for contact-tracing purposes only in the event of an outbreak (Public Health Unit tracking). Will this affect you registering your child?

Because of this, you would be required to sign a waiver accepting and acknowledging the risks involved and the risk of possibly catching the COVID-19 virus by participating in this program.
