Nomination for Legacy Business Award

The award will be given to a for-profit minority owned business to recognize and celebrate their long-term success. A nominated company must be minority owed. The Chamber will use the US Department of Commerce definition of minority ownership (at least 51%) and the business must have been in operation for at least 20 years.  In addition, to successfully operating their business since 2002, they must have demonstrated community involvement and served as a role model, inspiration or mentor to other minority owned businesses.

4.Please provide some background about the minority owned busines you are nominating.  This could include the name of the founder,  how the business got started, major changes, developments and achievements.(Required.)
5.Provide examples about how the business has benefited the community by participating in other organizations or describe activities or programs that benefit the community.(Required.)
