The FRLAEF will be holding a Regional Workshop at the Keiser University TALLAHASSEE campus on Friday, November 8, 2019.

The event will begin at 8:30 am and conclude by 2:00 pm. There is no fee to attend this event. Lunch will be provided and all attending students will receive a complimentary chef jacket.

Students will prepare Global BBQ: The focus of the Lab will be to use a variety of basic techniques and skills including but not limited to knife skills, cooking and baking methods in order to produce a variety of dishes including those listed below.

· Char siu with steamed buns cucumber and red onion pickles (China)

· Beef Bulgogi, Korean Stir-Fry Rice (Korean)

· Issan Style BBQ Chicken, green Papaya Salad (Thai/Loatian)

· Cevapcici with Ajvar and Flatbread (Southeastern Europe)

· Churrasco with Chimichurri (Argentina)

· Mango Sticky Rice Pudding

· Coconut Tapioca Pudding

· Alfajores (Argentinian Dulce de Leche Cookies)

Each ProStart school may bring up to 5 ProStart students to the event. (If more space becomes available we will let you know.)

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: OCTOBER 18, 2019

In the event this Regional Workshop reaches maximum capacity prior to the deadline, all subsequent schools will be placed on the waiting list.

The campus address is 1700 Halstead Boulevard, Tallahassee, FL 32309. The FRLAEF will email out directions and agendas to all registered attendees prior to the event.
