APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
As part of this application process, you will be required to upload a letter of support of no more than 500 words provided by your nominating sponsor (e.g., a teacher, guidance counselor, coach) outlining how you have demonstrated the following criteria:
· Independent thought
· Taking on and overcoming challenges
· Desire to contribute to a better world
Please have this document ready to attach (in a Word or PDF file) before you fill out this application form.
Acceptance
All applicants will be informed of selections on April 12, 2018 by email. Confirmation of participation is due April 19, 2018.
Program Dates
May 25-27, 2018 at St. John's College on the UBC campus in Vancouver
Please note that in order to participate you must be be able to attend the entire weekend
The ongoing process of truth and reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples is an integral part of all of Minerva BC’s work. Opportunities for conversation about this process as well as the complex nature of the intersectionality of diversity will be part of the Learning to Lead™ weekend. All participants are asked to enter these conversations with an open and respectful heart and mind.
