Kid x Plus Speaker Registration 2025 |
What is Kid x Plus?
Young people make up a large part of our community, but how many young people get to have a say about the issues that are important to them? Decisions are made every day that will effect the future of young people, whether it be about health services, schools, the environment, or just about anything.
Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health in partnership with Sunbury Aboriginal Corporation are inviting people between the ages of 12 and 24 to take part in a youth lead event, Kid x Plus.
Participants attending the group will be provided with support to develop a talk, workshop or other activity, and have their voice heard at our very special event. Among the audience will be our "key listeners", people who can provide advice and/or opportunities for you to take your ideas further.
Speaker support sessions will be held at 1:00 pm -3:00 pm on:
- Saturday 26th July
- Saturday 2nd August
- Saturday 9th August
- Saturday 16th August
- Saturday 23 August
- Saturday 30 August
at Sunbury Aboriginal Corporation
43 Macedon Street, Sunbury
43 Macedon Street, Sunbury
We encourage you to come along to as many of them as you can before participating in our Kid x Plus event, to be held on Saturday 6th September (times and venue to be announced).
If you are under 18 years of age we ask that you have a parent complete this form with you.
