Question Title

* 2. The Keyworking system in Kylemore CTC

 What is Keywork?

A Keywork meeting is where you get a chance on a planned basis to discuss the course and your progress on it and to give your input about this.  This happens with your Keyworker (explained below).  The first discussion in the centre with you will explain the Individual Learning Plan (ILP) for you.  Every month after that a further discussion will take place where the Individual Learning Plan is reviewed, updated and changed if necessary.  Some of things covered might be the amount of modules you have achieved so far, how you are settling in on the course and anything else you would like to talk about.

Who is the Keyworker?

The keyworker is the instructor of the core area you are studying. He or she will act as the first point of contact for you and as a link between you and other services and supports offered by the centre.

Your keyworker will change as you move through the different areas to learn
different subjects.
