Katandra West Community Plan - 5 Year Review Survey
The Katandra West Community Plan was developed in 2012 based on extensive community consultation that identified and prioritised an array of projects and activities that were important to the future of the area. It’s now time to revisit the priority projects and activities of the original plan with new ideas and suggestions for the future. We invite you to complete the survey below by Monday 26th March to help guide our priority projects and activities for the next 5 years. Some actions accomplished in the last 5 years include:
- Katandra West Community Centre - Welcome pack for newcomers to town - Town entry sign - Light installed in entrance to the reserve - Line markings and updated school crossing - Installation of doggie waste bin in the reserve - Reflective buttons installed on the road into town - Stage one funding secured for the Katandra West Youth Spot
A community plan is not simply a wish list. Each project identified will require further research, planning, design and potential fundraising by the community. All projects need to be driven by the community, with community members taking responsibility towards contributing to actions.
