Kafatos Lecture Nomination Form

Information and Application Form

The Kafatos Lecture series honours the legacy of Fotis Kafatos, former EMBL Director General and founding President of the European Research Council (ERC).

Each year, an exceptional life scientist—past or current ERC grantee—is invited to deliver a public lecture highlighting timely, impactful research and its societal relevance. The selection committee selects a speaker based on excellence in public speaking and timeliness of subject matter.

We invite nominations for speakers who meet these criteria. Nominations are accepted on a rolling basis. For full details on eligibility, please visit the Kafatos Lectures website.
