A model with maximum direct interaction with teacher and classmates. For example, my student connects virtually to live class meetings on a consistent daily schedule that mirrors attending school in person at school. Teachers provide the direct instruction, explain the work expectations, and monitor learning/feedback in real time as if in the classroom. A model with maximum flexibility for the family. For example, parent or caregiver sets the schedule, facilitating access to seesaw or google classroom, ensuring the student accesses all the lessons and submits all the required work for the week. A model that is part way between the two above, with 2-3 hrs of direct instruction from staff virtually and 2-3 hrs of activities student does independently without live access to school staff but may need facilitation help from parent/caregiver.
