* 2. I hereby submit part-payment of my Japan TEFL support fee (£674.50 of £1,349 total). I understand and accept that all support fee payments are non-refundable. I understand and accept that this first payment covers my online TEFL course, and the initial support & administration associated with my application. I understand and accept that the remaining £674.50 of the support fee must be paid at the point at which I accept an employment contract/position, and covers the support associated with the latter part of my application (everything after my acceptance of an employment contract/position). I understand and accept that if I fail to keep to this payment arrangement, my Japan TEFL place will be forfeited, and I will receive no refund of any money that I (or others relating to I) have spent on my Japan TEFL application (including any support fee payment/part-payment). I understand and accept that if I decide to withdraw from my Japan TEFL application at any point, I will receive no refund of any money that I (or others relating to I) have spent on my Japan TEFL application (including any support fee payment/part-payment). 

I understand and accept that there will be additional costs associated with my application (including but not limited to flights, VISA, notarisation & legalisation of documents, initial spending money, vaccinations, travel insurance). I confirm that I have discussed these costs with TravelGrad Ltd and am subsequently happy to proceed.
 
I understand and accept that TravelGrad Ltd and/or Japan partner company(s) will provide me with support in the lead up to my going to Japan, including advise/information relating to my application, preferences, criminal record check(s), legalization of documents, flights, vaccinations, TEFL, VISA, accommodation, health/travel insurance, and general Japan-related concerns.

I understand and accept that TravelGrad Ltd runs in conjunction with a number of organisation(s), school(s), education association(s), education establishment(s), education institution(s), company(s) etc. I understand that such partnerships are subject to the possibility of change/dissolution, at any time, which could potentially lead to a situation in which the organisation(s), school(s), education association(s), education establishment(s), education institution(s), company(s) etc.  advertised by TravelGrad Ltd at the time of my application/payment etc were no longer the partner organisation(s), school(s), education association(s), education establishment(s), education institution(s), company(s) etc. of TravelGrad Ltd at the time of my placement (or any date following said application/payment etc).
 
I understand and accept that no contract of employment will exist between TravelGrad Ltd and myself, but will instead exist between myself and the school/education association/education establishment/education institution/company etc. in which I am placed and/or TravelGrads' partners.

I understand and accept that I will need to accept all contracts and conditions asked of me by all schools/education associations/education establishments/education institutions/companies etc. associated with my application, and/or TravelGrads' partners, as well as the Japanese government. I understand and accept that I must comply with all Japanese COVID-19 policies and requirements.

I understand and accept that I must submit (to TravelGrad Ltd), for approval, any contract between myself and any school/education association/education establishment/education institution/company etc., prior to signing it. I understand and accept that failure to do so would mean no responsibility being taken by TravelGrad Ltd for any discrepancies between the conditions of my contract(s) and those advertised by TravelGrad Ltd.  
 
I give permission to TravelGrad Ltd to forward my application documents (to a maximum of everything that I [or others, relating to myself] send or have sent to TravelGrad Ltd) to its partner organisation(s), school(s), education association(s), education establishment(s), education institution(s), company(s), and anywhere else deemed necessary by TravelGrad Ltd, for the purposes of my potential participation on the Japan TEFL option.

I understand and accept that such application documents, as well as all personal data disclosed by myself (or others, relating to myself) to TravelGrad Ltd, will be held on the password-protected computer system of TravelGrad Ltd, for as long as is deemed necessary by TravelGrad Ltd.

I understand and accept that if the results of my criminal record and/or medical checks (in any country) fail to satisfy Japanese regulations, or indeed any person, body, company, local government, department etc. involved in my Japan TEFL application, I will be forced to withdraw my application, with no refund of any money that I (or others relating to I) have spent on my Japan TEFL application (including any support fee payment/part-payment). 
 
I understand and accept that I am strongly advised to purchase valid travel insurance for the duration of my time in Japan (before leaving for Japan).
 
I understand and accept that Japanese regulations can and do change often, and are entirely outside the control of TravelGrad Ltd. I understand and accept that such changes could cause me to incur additional, unexpected (and unadvertised) charges, and/or cause a delay in my departure for Japan, neither of which would warrant a refund of any money that I (or others relating to I) have spent on my Japan TEFL application (including any support fee payment/part-payment).

I understand and accept that while my placement preferences will be taken into consideration, such preferences are not guaranteed, and any dissatisfaction with my placement would fail to warrant a refund of any money that I (or others relating to I) have spent on my Japan TEFL application (including any support fee payment/part-payment).

I understand and accept that if I fail to provide a scan of my actual undergraduate university degree certificate to TravelGrad Ltd in good time, I may be forced to withdraw my Japan TEFL application, with no refund of any money that I (or others relating to I) have spent on my Japan TEFL application (including any support fee payment/part-payment).

I understand and accept that my preferred start date is a rough start date, and not a guaranteed start date. With many moving parts, this date could move a little bit in either direction. TravelGrad Ltd does however commit to keeping such movement to a minimum. An average application takes 5 months from the day of first payment to the day of arrival in Japan. It is highly unlikely to take less than 3 months or more than 7 months.
