This work group is for local planning and housing staff interested in learning about "the missing middle" and how to develop and implement a middle housing strategy. We will cover definitions, case studies, market data, design issues, regulatory strategies, development standards, affordability, communication tools and how to consider middle housing toward your RHNA.

There will be six meetings of two hours each, starting August 26, with some limited 'homework' between sessions. Jurisdictions are invited to sign up one staff rep to attend, plus an alternate. Several custom tools (guidebooks, reports, case studies, etc.) will be developed through the process and made available to participants as well as through ABAG's housing technical assistance program.  All sessions will be online and recorded for later viewing, but registrants should commit to participating "live" in all six sessions (either the main rep or the alternate).

Please fill out the registration information below.
