Call for Expression of Interest to join the EduSpots Network in 2026!

EduSpots is expanding its network of community-led Spots across Ghana and invites passionate teams to express their interest in joining our network of community-led change-makers!

If you are part of a group already driving education initiatives in your community; whether through a library, literacy program, STEM activities, environmental projects, or gender equity efforts, we want to hear from you!

Who can apply:

We welcome expressions of interest from groups of at least four committed individuals, including:
✔ Community-based changemakers
✔ Teams of teachers (GES or low-cost private schools)
✔ Local NGOs seeking to enhance their impact
✔ Groups managing community or school libraries
✔ International NGOs or private schools partnering with local communities

This is your first step toward becoming part of EduSpots’ Ignite Programme (subject to funding, with inductions planned for January 2026). Shortlisted teams will be invited to submit a detailed application and attend an interview.

How to Apply?
Submit your Expression of Interest by completing the fields below ASAP and by latest by 19th September 2025.

What happens after you have submitted your Expression of Interest?

1. EduSpots will invite you to a 1 hour Zoom meeting to provide detailed guidance on how to complete the new Spots application form; also providing detailed information about key plans and programmes, benefits, resources, etc. for joining the EduSpots network. Date, time and Zoom link would be shared with you ahead of the online meeting.
2. Attendees will then complete the detailed new Spots application form which would be shared after the online meeting.
3. Teams selected for the interview process will be notified by 30th September 2025.

a) Be a highly active part of the EduSpots network, sharing practice regularly with other Spot teams.

b) Be part of our Ignite Programme, including attending in person Academies, and engaging in monthly leadership activities to set up your Spots.

c) Ensure your Spot is active and lead at least 1 of our learner (Education) clubs/Strands on a regular basis.

d) Involve community stakeholders in creating a Spot management committee.

e) Complete our safeguarding training and lead this at your Spot with learners, volunteers and the wider community.

f) Be fully aligned with our Keeping Spots Safe principles? This includes a firm commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment, free from corporal punishment (such as caning or physical discipline). We expect all Spots in our network to adopt positive, non-violent methods of guiding behaviour, ensuring that all learners are treated with dignity and respect.
