As part of the 2017-18 Budget, Royalties for Regions funding of $200,000 was allocated for the Mental Health Commission (MHC) to undertake consultation, analysis and modelling to inform the development of a business case (for consideration as part of the 2019-20 Budget) on AOD (and co-occurring mental health) service needs in the Kimberley. 

The MHC, through the Nous Group, has conducted stakeholder consultation regarding the optimal mix of alcohol and other drug services for people living in the Kimberley. The first phase of public consultation closed on 7 September 2018.

An interim consultation summary report is now available for further stakeholder feedback. Please provide any comments in relation to this report by 4pm on 9 October 2018:
