2026 Hunger Action Month - Feeding Friends Art Contest

Thank you for wanting to help spread the word about the Glen House Food Pantry's mission by entering our Art Contest. Please review contest rules and submit all entry info and upload artwork below.

Contest Rules

· Contest is free of charge.

· The entry period will begin at 12:01 a.m. (CST) on September 1, 2026, and will close at 12:00 p.m. on September 18, 2026.

· The contest is divided into the following two format categories:

Pantry Holiday Card
Notecard Artwork

Three age groups (age at the time entry is submitted):

5 to 8 years-old
9 to 13 years-old
14 to 18 years-old

· Maximum one entry per person in each category

· All participants are encouraged to read about the Pantry mission and those we serve on our website @ www.glenhousefoodpantry.org
**Consider using Pantry logo green color to tie into Holiday theme or notecard design. Featuring nutritious food is appreciated.

· Specifications required: 8.5x11” or 11x17”, vertical layout.

· All entries may be drawn, painted or sketched using pens, pencils crayons or charcoal, or using oil, acrylic or watercolor paint, as well as mixed media. Digitally created artwork is also permitted.

· All artwork must be original and should not include logos or photographic images of the Participant or other personal information.

· Participants may not submit any entries which include content generated by any generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) tool, including but not limited to photorealistic imagery, graphics or other artistic media. Participants are allowed to use AI technology for ideation or editing purposes. They shall disclose how such technology was specifically used. Should AI have been used in a way that is not compliant with these rules, the Pantry reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify the entry from the competition.

· All entries may or may not include text. If text is used, no more than 25 words or 100 characters can be accepted. Do not include personal information, such as names, school names, or age, etc.

· Inclusion of product brand names is not permitted.

· Artwork may only be submitted using entry form provided. Images must be uploaded, scanned or submitted as a photo through the application form. Younger children may need help from an adult in making their online submission. Please do not mail in or drop off physical entries.

· Submissions must be accompanied by an entry form completed in its entirety. Parent or guardian permission is required for all entries.

· A maximum of 2 designs in each age category will be selected as finalists by the staff after the September 18 deadline. Each finalist will receive a certificate for this achievement.

· All winners will be contacted by September 29 and also announced on social media.
