Homeless Coordinating Council Coordinated Community-Wide Framework on Homelessness FEEDBACK FORM
The Homeless Coordinating Council (HCC) is a collaborative body made up of members from the City of Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, and the Board of Regents of the University of New Mexico. As reflected in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), the HCC’s work is guided by creative problem solving, respectful collaboration, evidence based decision-making and effective resource utilization. The HCC’s purpose is to deliver a coordinated community-wide framework for expanding and strengthening services & permanent affordable housing for people experiencing homelessness in the Albuquerque metro area.
The Framework below highlights the work of the various committees within the council to identify gaps/needs and high impact strategies related to their core focus areas: services, facilities, street outreach, affordable housing, and youth housing.
We appreciate you taking time to provide your input. The council and respective committees will review all of the input gathered. Other next steps include identifying a lead organization for each strategy, timelines, and estimated operational costs including potential funding sources.
