Award categories

Last year we held our second NZSCA Recognition Awards. The NZSCA wanted to recognise and acknowledge those individuals that gave back to the industry. You can read more about previous recipients 2017 here> and inaugural awards of 2016 here>

We are now calling for nominations of individuals that you think deserve to be recognised and acknowledged in this year's awards. The nominations will be considered by the NZSCA board. The recipients will be announced at the 2018 AGM, Friday 25 May in Queenstown.

Your nominations can be anyone that you think deserving of an award with a quick explanation of why!

There are four categories -
  • Lifetime Achievement Award Is for individuals who have distinguished themselves in terms of making a significant contribution to the New Zealand specialty coffee industry. NZSCA lifetime membership is awarded to members of who have served the coffee industry in New Zealand or brought distinction to it over and above the normal course of their job.

2. Having served with distinction in the management of, or service to, the NZSCA or the coffee industry.

Lifetime membership is the NZSCA’s highest honour in recognition of coffee excellence and contribution.
