UoM Expression of Interest

‘Grief’ is an emotion described as being ‘seen but not heard’. However, creating a safe space and using Indigenous and tacit knowledge, combined with Pasifika methodologies, to walk through the grief process have allowed grief to now be ‘seen and heard’.

Ula O Mānatunatu Workshops is an Indigenous approach to supporting Pasifika intergenerationally who have experienced the loss of a loved one. The content of the workshops applies indigenous knowledge, Pasifika values and principles, and the engagement of the following concepts:

1. Fa'afaletui (gather together)
2. Talanoa (talk)
3. Measina / Ula creation (treasure)

Workshop Cost: $200.00 (excl GST) to be held over 2 consecutive mornings.

This Workshop is an investment to your wellbeing. If you answer YES to the following questions - complete this EOI:

- Would you be willing to share about your loved one?
- Have you struggled to move forward from the loss of your loved one?
- Would you like to understand coping mechanisms to support you through grief?
