Timed so you can come have special time focused on your littles. Learn how even tiny hands can start giving back! The program will be formatted open-house style with activity stations set up highlighting a different craft or service project teaching a related Jewish value (this year’s focus will be on environmental sustainability!). Snacks and coffee will be available throughout the program.
Free and open to families with children ages 5 and under in the Jewish community and at the CDC.
One of the activities participants can do is upcycling “trash” to make their own treasures. Please bring in the following, CLEAN materials if you have them & would like to contribute to the project supplies.
Boxes from cereal, pasta, etc. Plastic jars/bottles Lids Egg cartons Paper towel rolls Scraps of yarn, ribbons, etc. Milk jugs Small shipping boxes Shoe boxes Other objects that could be used for art and are too big to fit through a paper towel roll (so we don’t have to worry about the little participants putting them in their mouths)
