WIAA Coaches School Speaker Interest Form

The WIAA is seeking candidates to fill speaker/presenter slots for the 2023 WIAA Coaches School. Ideal candidates are experienced speakers qualified to present on one or more of the following WIAA coach education areas:

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion within sport/coaching (race equity, gender equity, athlete identity, anti-racism, inclusive team building, etc.)
Psych/Social Foundations within sport/coaching (mental health, suicide prevention, visualization, motivation, etc.)
Medical Aspects within sport/coaching (nutrition, body mechanics, injury prevention, etc.)
Legal Aspects within sport/coaching (liabilities, school-based legal reminders, legal “hot topics”, working with youth, etc.)
Keynote (subject can vary)

The 2023 WIAA Coaches School will be a two-day, virtual conference specifically geared toward coach education for WIAA member school personnel. Speakers will be assigned 30- or 60-minute speaking slots depending on the topic. All presentations will be recorded for on-demand viewing.
