Instructions: As part of the Vandebilt Catholic High School Feasibility Study process and based upon the Case Statement and FAQ document recently emailed to everyone, the Executive Committee has created the following survey that will lead us through the final steps of this discovery process. Listed below are some key questions we invite you to answer. Your participation will greatly assist us in bringing this Feasibility Study to conclusion and moving on with what will be best for the future of VCHS. Please Note: As stated in the Case Statement and FAQ document, the administration and board have created the case points indicating what a proposed capital campaign will seek to fund:
  • Campus Activities Center: $2 million - $3 million
    • Phase 2 – Construction of a multipurpose facility that supports not only athletics, but student activities and campus events.
  • Financial Restoration: $3.5 million
    • As part of our Hurricane Ida recovery process, Vandebilt Catholic received a $3.5 million loan from the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux to replace critical HVAC systems and repair damaged infrastructure that was not fully covered by FEMA.
  • Investing in Teachers: $500,000
    • This investment seeks to help the V Foundation of South Louisiana (VFSL) in partnership with the Catholic Foundation of South Louisiana (CFSL) reach its Stage 1 goal of $1 million providing a sustainable source of support that honors our teachers’ devotion to faith-based education.
