Thank you for taking the time to complete the financial processes training for education abroad programs.

It's vitally important that all faculty members leading programs understand their fiscal responsibilities and know how to respond to financial situations.

This training covers steps you can take before, during, and after the trip to make sure all of your vendors are paid promptly, you receive speedy expense reimbursements, and you avoid making any unauthorized purchases.

Financial management is especially important because 100 percent of the funds that pay for education abroad expenses come from student payments. Each program is self-sustaining and depends entirely on students meeting their payment deadlines to thrive. The Education Abroad Office does not provide funds to pay for program expenses.

Once you have the financial processes down, then you can focus on what you do best: crafting a memorable education abroad experience for students.
