The Maryland Access to Justice Commission (A2JC) is an independent entity powered by the Maryland State Bar Association. A2JC unites leaders from the legal, community, government, and private sectors to make the civil justice system accessible, equitable, and fair for all Marylanders.
We are always on the lookout for legal and community leaders to serve as potential future Commissioners. Commissioners are a diverse group of leaders who actively engage in elevating and addressing barriers that Marylanders face when navigating the civil justice system. Commissioners are passionate about access to justice and represent the following stakeholder groups:
- Large, mid or small/solo law firms
- Corporate counsel
- Community representatives
