Knowsley Council has a duty to ensure there are enough school places, and in the right location.  In order to do this we have written a draft Knowsley School Organisation Strategy (2019-2029) (KSOS) which sets out the Council’s vision and principles to meet demand for school places over the next 10 years.  The draft KSOS includes a number of proposed criteria which would prompt a review of a school planning area and a range of models for school organisation.

We would like your views on the proposed vision, principles, decision making criteria, and the models for school organisation contained within the draft strategy and this summary version.

Comments received as part of the consultation will be taken into consideration before the Knowsley School Organisation Strategy is finalised.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to give us your views. Please note that whilst we welcome and take account of all views received, we are not able to reply to individual questions or comments sent in response to the consultation.

The consultation will run from 15 May 2019 to 31 May 2019.

There are a number of ways you can tell us what you think of the proposals set out in the strategy:

1. Complete the online survey;

2. Write to us at Draft School Organisation Strategy Consultation, KMBC, Municipal Buildings, Archway Road, L36 9UX; or
